Big Bang Theory
The most widely accepted theory of the origin of life is the Big Bang theory. The theory states that a nebula; a cloud of gas and dust being pulled together by gravity that eventually became the sun. Over millions of years repeated collisions gathered enough debris to form the planets. It's supported by both computer models and observations from the Hubble telescope.
